Adventure past steep mountain paths to take part in traditional tea ceremonies and mist-cloaked orchard harvests.

Beyond the crowded urban sprawl of Chengdu lies a sanctuary of steep bamboo ridges and peach orchards. During spring, we traveled to a small family cooperative farm to help dry tea leaves on iron plates over logs, sampling the light, crisp infusion while mountains remained folded in fog.

The valley road narrows as you climb. Street signs disappear. Mobile signal fades. The air becomes noticeably cooler, carrying the faint sweetness of blossom. In this environment, time dissolves into seasons rather than hours.
